Protecting children and free speech in a post-convergence world is the mission of the Family Online Safety Institute, whose North American launch will be held at the Kaiser Family Foundation on February 13 and one week later in London. FOSI combines the ICRA family of products and services into a broader and deeper mission incorporating technology, events, public policy and education into this new Institute. The launch will expand on the Institute's new vision, range of activities and international outreach in this challenging and, at times, controversial area of concern. Paticipants at the launch wll be invited to one of two concurrent Roundtables in the afternoon, delving deeper into the issues of public policy, technology and public education.
