Family Online Safety Institute Welcomes Newest Member Fox Interactive Media

WASHINGTON - August 15, 2008 - The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI), the leading Internet safety organization, today announced that Fox Interactive Media (FIM) is the newest member of the international, non-profit organization.

"FOSI has been a dedicated leader in promoting online safety and we look forward to contributing to the work they do," said Hemanshu Nigam, Chief Security Officer for Fox Interactive Media and MySpace. "Internet safety is a key priority for us as we strive to keep all teens safer online. This new membership will further strengthen our efforts and will also allow us to share our expertise with other members."

"FOSI is eager to begin working with Fox Interactive Media on the pressing issues that children face on the Internet, especially when it comes to social networking," said Stephen Balkam, CEO of FOSI. "With Fox Interactive Media becoming a member of FOSI we will be able to explore new ways to keep teens safe as they learn and socialize online."

Fox Interactive Media joins the high profile community of FOSI members, including AOL, AT&T, BT Retail, Comcast, France Telecom, Google, Microsoft, Ning, Telefónica, Telmex, and Verizon.
