Laure Baëté has a Masters in computer law and communication. For the past five years, she has been working as the Legal Counsel at “Le Forum des droits sur l’internet”, a non profit multi-stakeholder body, supported by the French government, specialising in internet legal and societal issues.
Laure Baëté deals on a day-to-day basis with e-business topics. She is in charge of a working group focused on behavior advertising. This working group will publish in late 2009 its recommendations as a result of a research started in December 2008. The main objective is to regulate e-advertising through good practices.
