As family online safety has risen to the top of the agenda in recent years, so countries have introduced legislation and regulation to deal with the challenges its citizens face. Emma has provided the in-depth research, expertise and commentary on these laws both at a country and federal level.

Emma is a qualified barrister in England and Wales; she has also passed the New York bar and has detailed knowledge of French law. Emma graduated from Norwich Law School with a degree in Law with French Law and Language in 2007. She completed the Bar Vocational Course at BPP Law school and left in 2008 before passing the New York bar in 2009.

She has gained experience from working for a large international law firm as well as from legal internships in both England and America. Emma is particularly interested in EU law, freedom of expression, and international law and cooperation.
