For the past 25 years, David has had a wide range of leadership roles in the technology and telecommunications sector. He is currently FOSI's Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
David is a member of the United Nations ITU Child Online Protection (COP) Working Council, the Executive Board of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety (UKCCIS), Norton's Family Safety Advisory Council, the European Commission's CEO's Coalition Stakeholder Group and involved in a number of broader International initiatives related to online safety.
After an early career in retail with Dixons Stores Group (DSG), David entered the computer industry in 1984. Consecutive senior executive roles in Motorola, Packard Bell and Compaq, during the industry’s most formative stages, have given him a unique insight and International perspective. In 1998 David became IBM’s Consumer Marketing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
David is a history graduate from the University of Kent at Canterbury and has a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
