ICMEC’s programs and initiatives support the creation of solutions to the problems of child abduction and exploitation.

Khalid Al-Hashimi has more than 15 years of experience in the Information Technology field, with particular expertise in cyber security, information infrastructure and ICT systems planning. In his role as Ex. Director for Cyber Safety & Security, Qatar's National Program that safeguards the country's information and communications systems. Khalid leads a team that works closely with government agencies, financial institutions, energy sector, businesses, and citizens to address cyber security risks, protect sensitive information, and ensure the safety of children on the Internet.

She has also obtained an Diploma in Civil Rights Private Law from the University of Alexandria, Egypt in 1986 and a Diploma in Comparative Law from the University of Ain Shams, Egypt in 1988. She was admitted as a lawyer in Bahrain in 1979. She has been admitted to both the Court of Cassation and the Constitutional Court of Bahrain and is a member of the Bahrain Bar Association.
