E Safety Consultant

David Wright is the E Safety Consultant for SWGfL, a local government organization that connects all 2,500 schools across the South West of England to the Internet. In conjunction with the SWGfL e safety group David has responsibility for the safety provision across the regional broadband infrastructure as well as supporting the 15 South West Local Authorities, 2,500 schools and 700,000 children with regards to online safety. David has worked extensively in the area of online safety for many years, not only with children, schools and wider communities, but also with partner agencies such as the police, CEOP and Childnet. David currently chairs the National Education Network Safeguarding Group in the UK as well as a member of the CEOP Education panel and the National Council for the NetSmartz Workshop.

Internet Solutions for Kids

Dr. Michele Ybarra is President and Research Director of Internet Solutions for Kids, a non-profit research organization in the US centered on understanding the impact on and opportunities for adolescent health represented by new technologies. She is well known for her work in the fields of Internet harassment and unwanted sexual solicitation, and has published extensively on the psychosocial characteristics related to these experiences by youth.
