Attorney specialized in TELECOMUNICATIONS LAW by the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICAI/ICADE (Madrid) and with an LL.M. INTERNATIONAL LEGAL STUDIES – Specialization in Gender and the Law and Human Rights Law by the American University-Washington College of Law. (Washington DC – USA).

Ana Luiza Rotta presently works at OPTENET, a global IT security company that provides intelligent, integrated content security solutions to service providers and large enterprises worldwide as European Projects Director. Her tasks involve managing projects aimed at the protection of children in the use of new online technologies.

In addition, Ana Luiza is the Secretary to the Board of Directors at the PROTEGELES, a Spanish NGO dedicated to running a hotline against illegal content, especially child pornography, on the Internet. PROTEGELES provides a mechanism for receiving complaints from the public about alleged illegal content and/or use of the Internet. PROTEGELES is a member of the INHOPE – Internet Hotline Providers – Association and Ana Luiza was its President from 2005 to 2007.
