Director of Alianza por la Seguridad en Internet

Armando is an active participant in many online safety initiatives in Mexico. He has given speeches on Family Online Safety to over 10,000 families in the last 3 years and has organized major events on the matter in Mexico. He is a member of the Mexican Internet Association and gave the opening speech at the ONU "Internet Day Celebration" devoted to online safety for kids and families.

As director of the Alliance for Online Safety he is working to bring together government, industry, schools, and families to define strategies and execute action plans to teach minors how to use the Internet in a safe and responsible fashion, while making "Cyber Citizenship" a priority in the national agenda. Armando is also the author of the Online Safety and Privacy e-zine and the Encyclopedia of Online Safety and Privacy.
