An attorney and engineer, Mr. McKeehan is currently Executive Director, Internet & Technology Policy, for Verizon, where he is responsible for developing policy strategies for next-generation network and service platforms, including fiber to the premises (FTTP).  Previously, Mr. McKeehan was a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff in the Verizon Technology Organization, responsible for developing platform and service requirements for a variety of narrow- and wide-band communications initiatives. He holds multiple U.S. patents on call forwarding services using advanced intelligent networking technology.

For the past 25 years, David Miles has had a wide range of leadership roles in the technology and telecommunications sector.  Working with a growing FOSI membership throughout the European, Middle East and African region, David also oversees the organizations web site and wider online strategy. David is based in the UK and is a member of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety (UKCCIS), Norton's Family Safety Advisory Council, as well as an active participant in wider European Commission initiatives. David is FOSI's representative on Egypt's Cyber Peace International Executive Board. Both parties have signed a 2 year Memorandum of Understanding at the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), in Sharm El Sheikh on November 18th 2009.

Peter joined the Metropolitan Police Service in 1971 and completed his police career in 2002 as the Borough Commander for Hackney. During his service he worked in the Obscene Publications Branch at Scotland Yard and he liaised regularly with Child Protection Units. He specialised in inner city policing and public disorder events and acted as an independent police advisor to the Independent Electoral Commission in South Africa in 1994.
