California's pioneering initiatives in online safety and privacy regulation, exemplified by the Age Appropriate Design Code (AADC) and the privacy-preserving Delete Act, have garnered widespread attention. These proactive measures not only set new standards for privacy and safety but also serve as a catalyst for national legislation. Tami Bhaumik, Roblox VP and FOSI Board Chair, will open the event, followed by a keynote address from Assemblymember Josh Hoover. A panel discussion, moderated by Marissa Edmund, Policy Specialist at FOSI, will follow and feature local experts including Holly Grosshans from Common Sense Media, Larry Magid from, Nichole Rocha from Rocha Public Affairs, and Matt Soeth from All Tech Is Human.
