The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) is seeking a 2017 Fall Intern. We would prefer someone who could work 2-3 days per week this Fall in the FOSI Washington, DC office, but are flexible on dates and hours. We are happy to work with any college/university to grant internship credit upon request.
Interns would research budding trends in the Internet industry and technology policy, help with social media, write blog posts for our Good Digital Parenting initiative, attend and report on special events, such as research presentations, government workshops as well as other speeches on the Hill and around the D.C. area.
This position is unpaid, however, we do provide a travel and lunch subsidy.
Tasks may include researching and organizing information on developments in online safety and privacy, including sexting, cyber-bullying, data protection, broadband responsibility, social media trends, and digital citizenship.
