Online child protection specialist Crisp Thinking has joined the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) to help drive awareness of online risks for young people and promote industry best practice. Crisp, which was founded by industry entrepreneur Adam Hildreth, has developed an abuse-detection engine that actively protects young people from the threat of online abuse.

Washington, D.C. - The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) has named Michael W. McKeehan as Chairman of its Board of Directors for a one-year term, according to an announcement made today by Stephen Balkam, the organization's chief executive officer. McKeehan is the director of Internet & Technology Policy for Verizon Communications, based in Washington, and has served on the FOSI board for three years.
