It’s almost Annual Conference time again!
Those who are familiar with FOSI will know that the Annual Conference is the highlight of our year, and we’d like to invite you all to attend.
This year's conference is entitled 'Redefining Online Safety' and will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. We’re excited to be gathering some of the most prominent figures in the Internet safety space to broach the ever-evolving notion of online safety, and discuss what this concept really means in today's connected world. We will be looking at ways to better understand the risks, how to mitigate the harms, while at the same time reaping the many rewards of the digital world.
We are looking forward to featuring a number of panels that specifically focus on youth, parenting, education, and how to best prepare our kids for their future lives. Some panel discussions that are not to be missed are: Sexting: Felony or Innocent Flirting?; Student Data Privacy: What’s the Right Balance?; and Tech for Tots: How Young is too Young?.
Also, be sure not to miss the release of FOSI’s new research, which is all about the challenges and opportunities that parents and face when raising digital natives. Formal recognition will also be given to those who have made an outstanding contribution to online safety, and they will be presented with a FOSI Award.
Come and join us on November 12th and 13th for two great days of discussion and learning. There is no other event quite like it, and there is still time to register!
