Colette Gregg is a sophomore at School Without Walls High School. She has a passion for law and women’s studies. During her educational career, she has won special mention, sixth, and first place in the Marion Barry Youth Essay Contest; including essays on inclusion in the census, anti-semitism, and eating disorders at the hands of social media. Ms. Gregg volunteers in her school’s literary tutoring program, where she helps students advance their reading comprehension skills in both French and English. She is a member of the SWW Debate Team, Feminist Literature Club, and more! Gregg is especially interested in working hands-on with her local government to promote resilient communities through efforts focused on gender, class, LGBTQ+, and racial equality throughout her beloved city.
