Senior Consultant

Landon Klein is a Senior Consultant for the California State Assembly Committee on Privacy & Consumer Protection.  In this position, Landon analyzes and advises on legislation concerning issues primarily related to data privacy, surveillance, cybersecurity, social media, and artificial intelligence.

Landon entered the world of public policy through the California Council on Science & Technology’s Science & Technology Policy Fellowship, completing his fellowship with the California State Assembly Judiciary Committee.  Landon studied Biology and Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received a Ph.D. in Neurosciences from the University of California, San Diego.
