WASHINGTON - September 17, 2008 — The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) today announced Sentinel, the leader in online predator detection and interdiction, will join the international, non-profit organization in a partnership for online safety. As a member, Sentinel will work with FOSI towards its goal of promoting best practice, tools and methods to make the Internet safer for families. In addition, Sentinel will join FOSI's board of directors. Sentinel CEO John J. Cardillo will be the company's representative on the FOSI board.

"The challenges children face on the Internet are growing every day," said Stephen Balkam, CEO of FOSI. "We welcome Sentinel's membership, which will allow us to work together to develop new ways to protect our families in this increasingly wired world where kids have access to the Internet almost everywhere they go."

"Working with FOSI will provide us with new insight on the best practices for online safety," said John J. Cardillo, CEO of Sentinel. "By joining FOSI, we will be able to serve families better, especially when it comes to safety on social networking and online dating sites."

Sentinel joins a high profile community of FOSI members, including AOL, AT&T, British Telecom, Comcast, France Telecom, Google, Microsoft, Telefónica, Telmex and Verizon.
