Simon Milner is Facebook¹s Policy Director for UK, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, responsible for representing the company on issues such as education, privacy, safety, security and internet access. He joined the company in January 2012. He is also a Board member of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety and is a Non-Executive Director of the Tinder Foundation. He previously held senior roles with BT, most recently as Director for Group Industry Policy, where he was responsible for policy development, articulation and advocacy on communications industry issues. Before BT he worked for the BBC including holding the position of Secretary, responsible for the Corporation's governance and accountability.
