Taylor Barkley is a Program Officer for Technology and Innovation at the Charles Koch Institute in Arlington, Virginia. In that role he manages a grant portfolio focused on technology policy issues and conducts research on topics at the intersection of culture, society, religion, and technology, artificial intelligence, automated systems and the future of work, and the societal impact of social media. Previously he has worked at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University and then the Competitive Enterprise Institute. His work has been published by Wipf & Stock, Scientific American, Real Clear Policy, Light Magazine, The Institute for Faith, Work, and Economics, and Human Progress. He received a BA in history and political science from Taylor University.
